About GolfZon Social
Golfzon Social is a joint venture between Golfzon — the Korean indoor-golf simulator company founded in 2000 — and Troon, the Scottsdale-based golf-management operator that runs hundreds of courses worldwide. The first two locations opened outside New York City in early 2023; a third opened in the Chicago suburbs.
Each Golfzon Social location is built around the parent company's flagship simulator system, with 240+ virtual courses, three practice areas (driving range, approach, putting), and on-staff instructors. The standout operational detail: a single bay can host up to six players at the same hourly rate, which makes the format better suited to bachelor parties and group outings than the by-the-hour-per-bay norm at TrackMan-driven competitors.
The chain currently operates three locations: Brooklyn, NY; Scarsdale, NY; and Oak Brook, IL. The format pairs simulator bays with chef-driven menus, hand-crafted cocktails, local craft beers, and curated wine — Troon's hospitality footprint is visible in the food-and-drink program.
Golfzon America is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia (Fairfax County). The Korean parent operates 120+ commercial simulator facilities in the U.S. across golf clubs, academies, ranges, and sports bars. Golfzon Social is the company's branded entertainment-venue concept, distinct from those equipment-supply relationships.
