Indoor golf in the District of Columbia is a small but real part of the state's broader golf scene.

DC winters are Mid-Atlantic standard — cold, wet, occasionally icy from December through February, with summer humidity pushing some midday play indoors. The metro's indoor scene runs from November through March at full capacity.

DC's golf culture is serious and corporate — federal government workers, lobbyists, and visiting executives keep instruction studios and fitting layers busy. Five Iron has a notable DC presence.

The District proper carries some inventory; the bulk sits in the surrounding Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons, Reston) and Maryland (Bethesda, Rockville, Silver Spring) suburbs.
