About X-Golf

X-Golf America operates the largest indoor-golf franchise in the United States, with roughly 138 locations across 38 states. The brand started in Korea in 2005, was established as a U.S. company in 2010 by two Australian brothers, and launched its franchise program in 2016 — the inflection point that drove the bulk of its growth.

Each X-Golf venue pairs seven to twelve simulator bays with a full bar and food service. The company's proprietary simulator uses laser sensors and high-speed cameras instead of the camera-only or radar-only systems most operators rely on, claiming 99% accuracy across more than 6,000 calculations per second on each shot.

The chain skews toward suburban and small-city markets across the Midwest, South, and East Coast, with concentrations in Illinois, Michigan, and the broader Great Lakes region. Most locations sit in retail or hospitality real estate — strip-mall anchors, sports-bar conversions, and standalone builds in established golf markets.

X-Golf is privately held and headquartered in Torrance, California. CEO Ryan D'Arcy led the franchise through its expansion phase from 2016 and stepped down in late 2024.
