Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026.
GolfIndoors.com ("we", "us") collects the minimum data needed to operate the directory. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Information you provide. When you submit a facility, claim a listing, send a contact form, or sign up for an account, we collect what you type — name, email, facility details, and free-form messages. We don't collect anything you don't enter yourself.
Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) are captured by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security + abuse prevention. We do not run third-party analytics tracking on the public directory at this time.
Cookies. A small set of cookies is used for session state (sign-in) and admin UI preferences (last-visited tab). No third-party advertising cookies.
How we use it
- Operate the directory: deliver pages, save your submissions, send transactional emails (e.g. claim confirmations).
- Improve coverage: aggregate facility-submission patterns to find directory gaps.
- Communicate: respond to your contact-form messages, send claim approval notifications.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share submitted contact information with third parties beyond what the user has explicitly authorized (e.g. publishing a public-facing facility phone number you provided).
Your rights
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you. Email contact form.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account + associated personal data.
- Correction — correct inaccurate facility data via the submission form or by claiming the listing.
Third-party services we rely on
- Vercel — hosting, edge network, log retention (request logs ~30 days).
- Supabase — Postgres database, authenticated via row-level security.
- Cloudflare R2 — object storage for facility photos + branding assets.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (claim notifications, admin alerts).
Each of these processors has its own privacy policy governing data they receive on our behalf.
Children's privacy
GolfIndoors.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data through the site.
