We encourage all of our customers to buy a golf sim projector only after verifying the dimensions of their simulator room and where they will be hitting from.
Tip: short throw golf simulator projectors made by BenQ usually hit the “sweet spot” for throw distance, often mounting directly above or slightly behind the golfer, avoiding swing plane conflicts and shadows.
Optoma and other brands can work well in the right situation, but often times are mounted too close, or too far away, to properly avoid these issues and still fill the screen entirely and without shadows. Plus, they can take a lot more effort to setup initially.
